Howdy folks! How´s it going? Well been a busy... week is it? I have no idea :) Never end up writing everything so have a little list so hopefully manage to finish my thoughts... There was 12hrs time difference so has taken a bit of adjustment, as has eating at 10pm and getting up at 6!

Well... back to the first night I wasnt too happy - when I unpacked discovered my shampoo had leaked all over my bag, most of it was ok as all in little pastic bags, apart from my jeans - so had to give them a wash... in my little teeny tiny room there as a double window that opened vertically (like normal windows) and a window on top of that that opened horizontally... anyway so hung stuff in front of the windows... and on the windows incl my jeans... unfortunately the top window didnt like that idea and fell on top of me!- I got a nice split bottom lip from it!

Howdy folks!
Have arrived safe n sound - altho a little bit tired...
Was up til 1am packing (why do i have to be so disorganised?!) and up at 4.30 to get ready to leave - crazy stuff!
But the flight was all good - saw the heartbreak kid and Mr Magoriums Wonder Emporium (yay!)... and on the leg from Auckland to Santiago I sat next to a Sydney girl - Alex- who was also going to B. Aires to join up for a Patagonia tour - different company and leaving a day later! It was a bit twilight zone cos we had a few similarities etc... Anyway we´ll catch up tomorrow to wonder round the city and was nice to have a plane buddy! Esp since she had organised a transfer from the hotel so got a lift with her (her hotel is about 4 blocks from mine)... My hotel - well mmm it is ok - altho when i have to come back here i will try a different hotel :)
Also met a Melbourne guy on the way here that is working on the silver and gold mines in Patagonia - has been here a bit the past year - so he told us a few scary travel stories etc - moral beign to be careful... anyway he said how they don´t have strong environmental focus - this last mine they pushed it thru quite quickly not really taking all the precautions they should for the cyanide that they will be using :( (bit of trivia for you :) )
Anyway just about to head out to get a snack and more money, then shower and bed! (very exciting stuff) so TTFN! :)
...so it is time for another (long) holiday!!!!
